Congratulations to Anntong for winning the 2022 National Innovation Award. The National Innovation Award has been the highest honor for the medical industry and academics innovation in Taiwan, attracting VC investors worldwide.
Anntong received the award by its “high efficiency microneedle drug delivery device components”. It is a great honor to be among the winners with companies such as PharmaEssentia, Inventec, Asus, and China Petroleum Corp. The judges acknowledged the innovative idea to bring molding technologies into microneedle mass production. With its background of precision tooling and micro-molding. Anntong has proposed a series of solid, hollow, and dissolvable microneedles.
President Hsu mentioned that it has been difficult for a manufacturing company with more than thirty years of history to “break the mold” and come up with new ideas. Anntong is merely integrating the resources of the microneedle research in Taiwan, from the mass production point of view. The participation of NCKU and CYCU brings great power to our establishing microneedle ecosystem. Winning is only the beginning. We look forward to collaborate with more Pharma and Device companies to commercialize this new drug delivery approach. To realize Anntong's vision of benefiting global medical care through affordable engineering.
